Bassist TIMPA Leaves HANOI ROCKS

Bassist Timpa has officially left legendary Finnish rockers HANOI ROCKS. "My plan is to spend some more time with my family," he explained in an online posting. "I still love HANOI and I feel bad about all this, but in fact, I feel free."

As previously reported, HANOI ROCKS have finalized the track listing for their new album, "Another Hostile Takeover", tentatively due on April 30.

"Another Hostile Takeover" (view cover here) is the group's first album to feature guitarist Conny Bloom (SILVERGINGER 5, ex-ELECTRIC BOYS),who joined the band last year.

According to published reports, "Center of My Universe" is a song that HANOI ROCKS guitarist Andy McCoy wrote sometime ago and but that has never released until now. "No Compromise, No Regrets" was originally a demo song written and recorded by Stiv Bators (THE DEAD BOYS, THE LORDS OF THE NEW CHURCH) during a Paris session in 1988, while "Dear Miss Lonely Hearts" was originally penned and released by Phil Lynott (THIN LIZZY) in 1980.
